1. What this app does
This app is an AI-powered video recording and knowledge workspace. Users can record their screen, browser tab, window, microphone, camera, or meeting audio; upload recordings to cloud storage; generate transcripts, summaries, chapters, action items, notebooks, and AI answers; and share recordings with others.
2. Information we collect
Account and workspace information: name, email address, login/session information, workspace or organization name, workspace role, invitations, membership information, and billing or subscription information if applicable.
Recording data: depending on what you choose to record, we may process screen, window, or browser tab video; microphone audio; system or tab audio; camera/selfie overlay video; recording title, duration, format, size, and timestamps; generated thumbnails, previews, converted media files, and related metadata.
AI-generated data: transcripts, timestamped transcript segments, summaries, chapters, action items, notebook sources, AI chat messages, AI answers, citations, source references, and generated templates such as meeting notes, PRDs, Jira-style tickets, follow-up emails, and SOPs.
Google Calendar data: if you connect Google Calendar, we may access and store limited meeting information needed to support recording reminders and meeting context, such as calendar account email, event title, event time, Google Meet link or meeting code, event description or agenda, and attendee information if available and permitted.
Usage and technical information: browser type and version, operating system, extension version, IP address, device/session identifiers, error logs, upload status, processing status, queue/job status, API request logs, storage usage, AI usage, and quota information.
Payment information: if paid plans are enabled, payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full credit card numbers on our own servers.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide recording, upload, playback, sharing, transcript, AI notebook, and organization chat features; store recordings and metadata; generate transcripts, summaries, chapters, action items, and AI answers; connect recordings to Google Calendar meetings when enabled; manage accounts, workspaces, roles, invitations, and permissions; enforce storage, recording, AI, and billing quotas; process subscriptions if enabled; improve reliability, security, and performance; detect abuse or unauthorized access; and provide support and debugging assistance.
4. AI processing
When you use AI features, recordings, transcripts, notes, sources, and chat prompts may be sent to the AI providers configured for the service, such as OpenAI, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, or another configured provider.
AI may be used for transcription, summarization, chapter generation, action item extraction, notebook Q&A, organization-level search/chat, template generation, embeddings, and semantic search.
We do not use your recordings or content to train our own models unless we separately ask for your consent. Third-party AI providers may process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Cloud storage
Recordings and generated media assets may be stored in cloud object storage such as Cloudflare R2. Stored files may include original WebM recordings, MP4 previews or conversions, audio files, thumbnails, metadata files, transcripts, and notebook-related assets.
Recordings are intended to be private by default unless you or your workspace changes sharing settings.
6. Sharing and visibility
Users may create share links for recordings. Depending on product settings, recordings may be private, workspace-only, unlisted, public, or shared by link.
Anyone with access to a valid share link may be able to view the recording and related AI-generated content, depending on the configured visibility settings.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share recordings, especially if they include other people’s voice, image, screen content, confidential information, or meeting content.
7. Recording consent
You are responsible for complying with applicable laws and workplace policies before recording meetings, calls, screens, or other people.
Before recording, you should notify participants where required. The app may show consent reminders, especially for Google Meet recording prompts, but you remain responsible for obtaining any necessary consent.
8. Browser extension permissions
The extension may request permissions for screen capture, microphone, camera, storage, downloads, active tab access, scripting, and offscreen documents. These permissions are used to provide recording, toolbar, recovery, upload, local download, and related user-facing features.
9. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable, including under GDPR, we process personal data based on one or more legal bases: your consent, performance of a contract with you, legitimate interests such as securing and improving the service, and compliance with legal obligations.
10. How we protect information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS, private cloud storage buckets where appropriate, signed upload and download URLs, workspace-based access controls, role-based permissions, session security, API key handling, storage and usage quotas, logging, and monitoring.
No system is completely secure. You should avoid recording or uploading highly sensitive information unless you are comfortable using the service for that content.
11. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business purposes.
You or your workspace admins may be able to delete recordings. Deleting a recording may remove or schedule removal of associated video, audio, transcript, notebook, and AI-generated data. Backups and logs may remain for a limited period before deletion.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, withdraw consent, disconnect Google Calendar, delete recordings, leave a workspace, or request account deletion.
To exercise these rights, contact us at: [privacy email].
13. Google Calendar disconnection
You can disconnect Google Calendar from the integrations page. After disconnection, we will stop syncing new calendar data. Previously synced meeting metadata may remain attached to existing recordings or notebooks unless you delete it or request deletion.
14. Children
This app is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
15. International data transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
16. Third-party services
We may use third-party services to operate the app, such as Cloudflare R2 for storage, OpenAI/DeepSeek/OpenRouter or other providers for AI processing, Qdrant for vector search, Stripe or another payment provider, Google APIs for Calendar integration, email providers for login or invitations, and error monitoring or analytics providers if enabled.
These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, email, or other appropriate means.

Google API Limited Use Disclosure
This app’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use Google Calendar data only to provide user-facing calendar and meeting recording features, such as showing upcoming Google Meet meetings, matching a recording to a calendar event, and adding meeting context to a recording notebook. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
